Separate the three functions: daylight, ventilation and access. An opening skylight can help with ventilation; a Skydoor is an access product. Let us know which function matters to your project.
What is above the ceiling?
Roof shape, covering and the space between roof and ceiling influence the installation. You do not need all the answers to enquire. Tell us what you know and what needs to be assessed.

Read the installation cost guideAsk what is included in the roof work, internal lining and finish, access equipment and any controls or blinds. Keep the proposed product size and specification alongside those details when comparing options.
For a design in progress, involve your architect or builder early so the skylight and the roof opening are considered together. If you are starting with an existing room, describe the current space in your enquiry.
